Dear leaders of San Francisco health and social service agencies serving low-income communities:

We are grateful to your organization for providing important health services in San Francisco, including those from stressed communities. The major park agencies in San Francisco have collaborated to offere free, guided Healthy Parks Healthy People walks to help health and social service providers prescribe activities that promote physical activity, relaxation, and social connection. We ask that you and your agencies provide this information about these walks in waiting rooms, lobbies, or by prescribing them to your clients.

We also invite you to use the park program search feature on Healthy Parks Healthy People: Bay Area's website to find more information about each free park program in San Francisco or around the Bay. Each park program on the website includes information about the walk leader, meeting location, and directions to the event.

If you have questions about San Francisco's Healthy Parks Healthy People program, contact Arielle N'Diaye at andiaye@parksconservancy.org, (415) 561-3028.
